Marking its 56th anniversary with the theme "Our Power, Our Planet," Earth Day 2026 is focusing on collective action and community-led solutions to the climate crisis. Key activities include global cleanups, tree planting, and educational events to promote sustainability. So many ways to get involved. Check out your local community paper, Facebook group, or simply chat with your neighbors about getting together and doing a trash pick up in your neighborhood.  Earth Day is every day at StormSister Spatique. From the brands we carry - glass, aluminum and plant based "plastic" bottles, to brands that use nature to formulate their products - and being good stewards to Mommy Nature, to how we reuse ALL of the shipping boxes and packaging we receive.  When one of our vendors sends us our shipment, we recycle the big boxes in our city-wide recycling program (or give them to someone who is moving!), and all of the smaller boxes and packaging peanuts (we don't do ANY bus...

Calming Chamomile Head Spa Ritual

Introducing Arete CALMING CHAMOMILE SCALP TREATMENT POWDER:

Steeped in tradition and revered for centuries, Chamomile, a symbol of peace, purity, and divine healing, offers a gentle touch of nature's serenity. Known for its soothing and calming properties, this golden bloom brings harmony to even the most delicate scalps.

Calming Chamomile Head Spa Ritual:

Step 1: Starting with wet hair, gently cleanse your scalp with Arete Calm & Soothe Cleansing Milk.

Rinse.

Step 2: Depending on how thick your hair is, add 1 tsp of Calming Chamomile Powder into every 30g of Calm & Soothe Cleansing Milk. Mix thoroughly in a bowl and apply directly to your scalp. Apply with a tint brush, color bottle, or fingertips. 

Step 3: Let the treatment sit for a minimum of 5-10 minutes. (Feel free to cover your hair and leave on longer if you are doing other self care rituals at the same time.) Gently massage your scalp with your fingertips, working in the treatment and melting tension. Rinse.

Step 4: Apply Arete Botanical Bond Hair Repair Masque to deeply condition and repair your hair.

Leave on for 5 minutes and rinse. Style as usual.
