A great event at the Arboretum to honor man’s and woman’s best friend. Reserve a spot for you and your faithful canine companion for a wonderful walk together on Three-Mile Drive, complete with Trick or Treating, a pet expo in the Great Hall at the Visitor Center and a Dog-O-Rama costume parade (dress up in style!)...all in the wonderful outdoor setting of the Arboretum. Doggie goodie bags included!
Additionally, authors Allen and Linda Anderson will be at the Gift Store to sign advanced copies of their new book, A Dog Named Leaf. The Andersons are the founders of the Angel Animals Network, a nonprofit devoted to exploring the extraordinary characteristics of everyday animals. They use writing and speaking to promote how important the owner and pet relationship can be. The official release date for the book is November 6.
No tickets will be issued. A list of registrants will be printed off and used at the Gate House for admission on November 3. Please print a copy of your invoice when completing your online registration.
Note: Only dogs registered for this event are permitted with owners to walk on Three-Mile Drive. Dogs must be leashed at all times. Owners must pick up after dog. Thanks to all for their cooperation.
